It was early in 2008 that I consciously applied the Law of Attraction. I visualized myself as being financially independent and resonating Success but at that time, I was pretty broke.

I was a person who gave good value and had my small financial successes along the way. However, I was in a pattern of manifesting people who are "wolves in sheep’s clothing" and got exploited of my talents and not receive the deserving financial rewards that I was meant to get.

In my most recent business joint venture, which lasted till July this year. I manifested a really oppressive business partner who was a preacher of good and generosity but in reality an oppressive bully who takes advantage of people and exploit them. He’s a subjective person whose word has little value because agreements can always be rescinded, using the standard BJE… that means Blame, Justify, Excuse. But when a person starts to be bad with money payments, I guess that is really the end of a partnership, in spite of tolerance level. May he come to his personal awareness shifts soon, so that his full blessings can be manifested.

Needless to say, I was caught in a destructive pattern. However, when I took responsibility that I allowed him to be this way, I realised that I manifested this person into my life to teach me valuable lessons at that life stage. When I allowed the lessons to resonate in me, the lesson being, "Choice is always in our hands", I realised I could choose my pattern of destruction or I could choose for the pattern to stop. I decided that it had to stop and I learned from it.

Funny thing though, thinking back of how I practiced the Law of Attraction, I remembered that one of the principles of the Law of Attraction states that "when you start to visualize and become who you are suppose to become", you start to shed away all those things in your life that does not suit or identify with the new you, because differing energies cannot occupy the same space. It was clear to me that I’m evolving, therefore I no longer resonate to that energy that brought me together with that partner. Another funny thing too is that this business partner of mine, taught me a lot of the necessary skills that made me who I am today and I’m thankful for the knowledge. I accept what happened and I accept that this event simply IS.

Many times in my life, I hear doctrines that says we are suppose to embrace all the "good" and reject or shun the "bad". However, from this experience, I further appreciate the duality of the universe that we live with, that one needs to be able to recognise one side of the duality in order to appreciate the other side of the duality, such as "Poverty" and "Prosperity".

So, to conclude this post, I would like to make a point that the Law of Attraction sometimes gives you setbacks, trials and tribulations. However, when you hold dear to your faith in the Laws of the Universe, the Universe is friendly and ultimately gives you exactly what you want.

I’m thankful for the life I’m living now and the Successes that I’m currently experiencing as well as those that are brewing.

P.S. Just curious though, I know that another school of thought says that "one could express that angry side and get ‘even’. Therefore making yourself whole and recognising that side of you that is the opposite of ‘nice’, experiencing your own duality and becoming whole". Can I have your thoughts about that please? What do you think? In the quest for wholeness, should one experience wholeness through recognising personal dualities or experience wholeness through embracing harmony, peace and forgiveness? Or should it be both? Or does the circumstance depict your approach.

I’ve been thinking of this topic a lot lately and I thought I’d pen down something about it.

Many times in my business life, I see people who are out to make a BIG windfall. They go to wealth creation seminars, try the next "get rich quick" scheme, test various investment vehicles and most of the time, the end up finding themselves at the same place that they originally started. Sometimes being even more broke and desperate.

I’m also writing this because I see many close friends doing the same thing. Sincere, honest people seeking to make an honest earning but most of the time, the mindset of making Big money causes them to forget something simple and essential… Cashflow!

Sincerely, I care for these people and I hope that they can see that making consistent increments of cashflow
accumulates to a substantial amount of money. And what comes with that are emotions such as security, peace of mind and harmony.

It is really a simple question:

"If you can choose between making $100,000 and $10,000… which would you choose?"

Most people when asked this question will not hesitate to answer $100,000. However, If I change the question to:

"If you can choose between making $100,000 a year vs $10,000 a week… which would you choose?"

The answer is really simple. $10,000 a week is faster than $100,000 a year.

So… the mindset that I’d like to address here is… seek transactions that allows you to make fast (but most of the time smaller) amounts of money, rather than go through a period of "no cashflow" just to have the bigger amount of money.

In the long run, this is more sustainable.

When we talk about using the Law of Attraction to manifest our heart’s desires, sometimes things can get a little unclear, especially if we know what is the result or outcome that we want, but somehow can’t seem to find the connecting experience to feed our ‘Attraction’. The question here simply is “How do I attract what I want, if what I want, I’ve not experienced before?”

Take monetary results for example. If what a person wants to manifest is $1,000,000 but more than likely, have not experienced what it is like to have $1,000,000. How does that person then start to manifest that $1,000,000?

Here’s a theory. Since our bodies are trapped in Space and Time (Chronos/Linear Time) and our Mind/Spirit exists in Kairos Time (God’s time, aka The Omnipresent, Here and Now), what we think of (assuming we did not have a body) should immediately manifest into experience. However, because we DO have a body, in order for thought to manifest into experience, Chronos time needs to take place before thought becomes experience therefore becoming reality in the body.

So…… Here’s a theory on how to manifest thought into experience, the surefire method. Use Presuppositions in your manifestations. Imagine, if $1,000,000 in your bank account is what you desire, perhaps one could manifest the lifestyle that that million dollars presupposes. Eg, The travelling lifestyle, the freedom of personal time, enjoyment with the kids, the relaxed mind etc. With those presuppositions, it is like setting the bar at a different reality, that assumes that the reality of the $1,000,000 has already taken place. If one tries to manifest $1,000,000 in the bank account but does not have a belief that it is possible and doubts that the process. It is not going to happen anyway.

The point being, if you are in doubt of your own thoughts of attraction, find a higher thought that you are congruent with and manifest that. That way, you connect your experience (past and present) to feed your imagination to bring about a reality or experience you desire. Staying aware that there are no accidents in the universe.

To try this method in a “safer”, more achievable way, perhaps you could try manifesting a good night’s sleep tonight, that presupposes that today’s burden laden chores are complete. Have fun with it!

For the times when we need a little encouragement

Enjoy.

I think I was around 18 years old when I heard a sermon about words having power.

When I watched “The Secret” again just recently, this thought of “Words Have Power” kept repeating in my head and I started observing people again…. as usual. This time I really wanted to listen to the words that people choose and observe what kind of emotions they are feeling… of course, me being the analytical person that I am, I then try to deduce what kind of mind-frame that person is living in, manifesting what kind of life. The question that I ask myself through these observations are then… How powerful are words, in relation to manifested reality? What does it take for people to be aware this cause-effect and choose to change something as simple as their words… or is it really that simple?

There is an example that I would like to share today:

A man who is talking to a friend over coffee. His friend asked: “How has our day been?” and the answer was terrible! It went along the lines of “That STUPID client of mine… DAMN troublesome. Cannot make a simple decision… so KIASEE (aka cowardly)! Waste my time. No Balls! ….. He went on and on and I was feeling so irritated by the negative vibes, I changed table….. but here’s the observation. In a short span of 15 mins, 3 other phone calls came in for this man and all of them were “bad”. One was about a deal that just got stolen by another agent, one was from an unhappy client asking for a refund and another one sounded like it was his wife on the other line and he was trying to shove her away by giving justifications that he was on a phone call. I saw this and I thought to myself: “I can’t imagine the kind of self talk that is happening in his mind on a daily basis. He must be suffering a great deal.” As for his friend, It seemed like he was being really nice to be a listening ear but I could see that he was feeling uneasy. I wonder what is his relationship with his wife like? If only this man could realise that his words are causing him anguish and possibly attracting more negativity and unhappiness in his life.

I’ve got a friend who regularly uses the word “Sorry”, almost in every conversation and talks a lot about how his boss treating him like a doormat. Is that word “Sorry” feeding the insecurity?

Another friend keeps using the word “Stressed” and constantly falls sick. What’s the connection there?

I’ve got another friend who uses the word “Busy” all the time but doesn’t seem to be able to get her job done on time. Always asking for extension of deadline.

On a positive light, I also got a friend who always says he’s GREAT and he says it with gusto! He has probably one of the most loving couple relationships I’ve ever seen.

So, do you think words have power?

In my humble opinion, words HAVE power. They are like the constant seeds that are being sown daily, growing into the harvest that we’ll have to reap one day. It affects every part of a person’s life. Emotionally, Mentally, Spiritually and Physically. Words are the medium in which we send our thoughts out into the universe, attracting back the same vibrations that are sent. My encouragement to you is to constantly be aware of the words that you use, cos words come forth from your thoughts, interpretations and belief systems, which inevitably shape or reinforce who you are. It becomes a self expression of who you are, thereby shaping the “reality” that you live in. It is so simple and yet powerful.

Watch your words my friend, choose them wisely, make it a habit. They could shape and nurture, they could also destroy. Choose healthy words. My wish for you is for you to have a happy, fulfilling life, with wonderful relationships.
